Every few years my school librarian asks the faculty to bring in a favorite book and some appropriate props, and she has portraits taken, which are then framed and mounted on the library wall, in the hopes that the students will be inspired to pick up a book.
I couldn’t decide between my two favorite novels: A Christmas Carol, by Charles Dickens, or And Then There Were None, by Agatha Christie. Ultimately I thought the props would be easier for Dickens.
No regrets.
