It’s funny ‘cause it’s true; it’s funny and true.
It seems to me that we tromboners should have a better reputation, if Paul Newman once played.
A solipsismal and cathartic compendium of geeky and varied pursuits. I am a teacher and father near Buffalo, NY.
I was commissioned last fall to arrange Colin Meloy’s “June Hymn” (performed by The Decemberists on their album The King is Dead) for performance by trombone quartet for a graduating senior’s final recital. This is a recording of the first performance of the arrangement.
The piece is performed by Eden, Chelsea, Bryan & Mike.
If you like what you hear and are interested in having an arrangement done for your band, orchestra or chamber ensemble, I am available. Fees are reasonable.

MY FUTURE HOUSE, part III
The house will be a new build with a classic Gothic/Victorian mansion facade. It will be situated near a wood, and also on the shores of a Lake. I am able to be this picky because I will have won $250 million in the lottery.
Above you see the master bedroom, walk-in closet and bath; the boys’ room (both young and old); the children’s bath; the guest bedroom; the music room; the library; the games room.
